WARNING 13007 - <lost_particles_count> particles could not be tracked.

Description

One or more particles could not be tracked during the current timestep. The number of affected particles is shown in the message. This occurs when a particle moves too far in a single timestep for the cell-search algorithm to follow or when a particle exits the model domain. Those particles are removed from tracking and the simulation continues.

Suggestions

If particle loss is unexpected, consider reducing the Lagrangian Timestep == or Eulerian Timestep == commands in the particle tracking control file. Check the model domain extent and wet/dry behaviour in the region where particles are being tracked.
