ERROR 11007 - floating point error returned by erosion model at cell <2d_cell_id>

Description

A NaN (not-a-number) value was returned by the erosion model at the reported cell. This indicates a numerical failure in the erosion calculation.

Suggestions

Check the model for extreme or unrealistic sediment flux values near the reported cell. Review the output hydraulic model bed shear stress (TAUB) and sediment transport bed shear stresses (TAUC, TAUW and TAUCW if applicable). The PICKUP or PICKUP_TOTAL map outputs may assist in assessing spurious erosion rates. Review the specified sediment fraction models for high or unrealistic parameterisation of the Erosion Model == and accompanying Erosion Parameter == command for the sediment type(s). Consider use of the Erosion Depth Limits == command to reduce the likelihood of non-physical erosion rates in areas of shallow depth.

If the sediment fraction configuration appears reasonable, reducing the sediment transport timestep (using the sediment control file Update dt == command) may help resolve the issue.
