Description
A NaN (not-a-number) value was returned by the bedload transport model at the reported cell. This indicates a numerical failure in the bedload calculation.
Suggestions
Check the model for extreme or unrealistic sediment flux values near the reported cell. Review the output hydraulic model bed shear stress (TAUB) and sediment transport bed shear stresses (TAUC, TAUW and TAUCW if applicable). The BEDLOAD or BEDLOAD_TOTAL map outputs may assist in assessing spurious bedload rates. Review the specified sediment fraction models for high or unrealistic parameterisation of the Bedload Model == and accompanying Bedload Parameters == command for the sediment type(s).
If the sediment fraction configuration appears reasonable, reducing the sediment transport timestep (using the sediment control file Update dt == command) may help resolve the issue.
