ERROR 10178 - More than the maximum number of scalar constituents (<max_scalar_constituents>) have been requested.

Description

The total number of scalar constituents (salinity, temperature, suspended sediment fractions, tracers and water quality variables combined) exceeds the internal limit of 100.

Suggestions

Reduce the number of scalar constituents configured. This can be achieved by adjusting one or more of the following.

  • Disabling salinity and/or temperature if they are not required for the simulation via the Include Salinity == and/or Include Temperature == commands
  • The number of tracers is controlled by the Ntracer command
  • The number of suspended sediment fractions specified in the Sediment Control File via the sediment fraction block, bounded by the Fraction and End Fraction commands. Refer to the TUFLOW FV Sediment and Particle Tracking User Manual for more information
  • The number of water quality variables specified in the Water Quality Control File. Refer to the TUFLOW FV Water Quality User Manual for more information
