The external nodestring path-finding algorithm could not find any adjacent mesh faces for a node, preventing the nodestring path from being completed. This indicates an inconsistency in the mesh topology at the affected node.
Suggestions
Check the mesh at the affected nodestring for degenerate or disconnected elements. Re-meshing the area or adding intermediate vertices to the nodestring may resolve the issue.
Check the 2d_ns GIS layer flag attribute. Ensure that ‘BD’ is only specfied for nodestrings that are intended to snap onto the edge of the mesh. Internal nodestrings, typically used for hydraulic structure connections or flux reporting should not be flagged as ‘BD’.
