ERROR 10140 - Nodestring <nodestring_id>, segment <segment_number> does not correspond to any model face.

Description

A segment of the named nodestring does not correspond to any face in the mesh. This occurs when the nodestring vertices do not align with mesh nodes or when the nodestring extends outside the mesh domain.

Suggestions

Check that the nodestring GIS geometry aligns with the mesh. Ensure all nodestring vertices snap to mesh nodes and that the nodestring lies within the mesh boundary. The GIS messages output file shows the location of the failing segment.
