16. TUFLOW FV Tide Boundary

16.1 Loading

To load TUFLOW FV BC tide boundary data for plotting into the TUFLOW Viewer:

  1. Load the node string GIS layer (2d_ns)
  2. Right-click the layer in the QGIS Layers Panel and select TUFLOW Viewer ► Load BC Tide NetCDF data
  3. Browse to the location of the relevant .nc file containing the BC tide boundary data and select it.
  4. If the data contains a local timezone, an option to use this timezone rather than UTC will be given.

16.2 Plotting

The TUFLOW FV tide boundary data is supported in the following plot types:

  • Time Series Plot
  • Section Plot

The TUFLOW FV tide boundary data only supports plotting using the selection tool. See the Plot Window documentation for more information on plotting.
